I've been getting allergy shots with Grand Rapids Allergy for 5+ years. I was thrilled with the "Rush" method to get me to maintenance dose faster. It's easy to get my shots; they have a huge staff of folks who administer the shots. They're super friendly and are kind enough to give me the fun bandaids. My allergy shots make my life so much better. Annual appointments are scheduled out a bit, but that's pretty normal for a specialist's office - though you'll see the NP (at least I do - but I don't have any issues). I've only really had one non-routine contact with their office; I had to call the after hours line on a Friday night, because I had a hiccup with a prescription for my asthma that I needed before the weekend was out. Dr. Schafer was on call, returned my call within 15 minutes, and was so kind and helpful. I don't know what I expected, but I felt extremely valued and cared for. I'm glad I didn't wait until Monday! I'd highly recommend Grand Rapids Allergy!

We were recommended to Grand Rapids Allergy by many friends after suspecting our daughter has FPIES. We were greeted with smiles and felt so welcome. The nurse was so kind and really made us feel at ease with the diagnosis of our daughter. Our Doctor was absolutely wonderful, she was beyond knowledgeable about such a rare syndrome. She also truly took her time and always listened to all my questions and fears. I went in to the appointment scared to what our future for our 6 month old held to leaving feeling confident that we can manage her FPIES. I’m beyond fortunate to have such a great team to help us with our daughter, they made us feel like family.
We have been coming to GRAllergy now for since January of 2009. My son and myself have seen tremendous improvement with our allergies and have control of our lives instead of our allergies controlling us. He has been through multiple food allergies, outdoor/indoor and asthma. We couldn't be happier with our care and immediate answers to questions. Dr. Schafer is amazing, great with children, and extremely practical. Thank you!
Hello I'm writing a review on the RN we had at my daughter's appointment.. I feel bad I can't remember his name but this was new for me.. but I wanted to share my experience! He did an absolutely amazing job with my daughter and explain things well to me and I really appreciate how much he cared!! She's only five and he worked well with her and made her comfortable!! So I'm sorry I can't remember his name but thank you!! Hopefully I can thank him in person when I see him again!! I appreciate it very much!!
