Starting an Allergy Injection Program During Modified Process for COVID-19

Congratulations! With your first allergy injection you are on your way to better health.

We have modified our process for injections due to the current pandemic. To best prepare you to start your program, you will need to schedule your first injection. All subsequent injections will follow the outlined process.

Before your appointment for your first injection, you will need to review the following materials and have a phone call with a nurse. The nurse will contact you the day prior to your scheduled appointment. If you do not speak with the nurse prior to your appointment, your injection will be rescheduled. Please be prepared to review any questions with the nurse during this phone call.

When you arrive for your appointment, please let the screening staff know that you are here for your First Injection. You will be directed to park in a designated area. You will follow the above instructions for check-in. When you are in the building, you will give your verbal consent to the injection room staff and receive your injections. Your 30 minute wait will be in your car. (For minors: a parent/guardian must be present at first injection to give verbal consent).

If you or your child have significant anxiety about starting an injection program, please address this during your phone call with the nurse. There are resources available to assist.
