We have modified our process for first dose of sublingual immunotherapy (drops or tablets) due to the current pandemic. To best prepare you to start your program, you will need to schedule your first administration. Patients on allergy drops will also need a follow up appointment in 2 weeks for the first drop from the next bottle.
Before your appointment for your first drop or tablet, you will need to review the following materials and have a phone call with staff (we will call you the day prior to your scheduled appointment). If you do not speak with staff prior to your appointment, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Please be prepared to review any questions with staff during this phone call.
Materials to review:
How to Use Allergy Drops at Home (drops only)
Allergy Drop Schedule (drops only)
Allergy Tablet Instructions (tablets only)
When you arrive for your appointment, please let the screening staff know that you are here for your First Drop/Tablet. You will be directed to park in a designated area. You will follow the above instructions for check-in. When you are in the building, you will give your verbal consent to staff and receive your first drop or tablet. You will have a 30 minute wait in your car. (For minors: a parent/guardian must be present at first administration to give verbal consent).
