Sara J.Uekert, M.D. Dr. Sara J. Uekert is a native of Grand Rapids and graduated in the top 4% of her class at Calvin College. She received her degree in Asthma, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she trained with some of the nation’s leading asthma and allergy specialists. She has presented her research nationally, and is in the process of publishing her fellowship research on pediatric asthma. Dr. Uekert is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Uekert is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of food allergy, atopic eczema, allergic rhinitis, stinging insect hypersensitivity, chronic urticaria, and clinical immunology. Dr. Uekert and her husband Bruce enjoy spending time outdoors camping and hiking. In addition to keeping up with their energetic young children, they enjoy photography, biking, and gardening. |
